DIY Valentine's cards

Valenine’s day is really soon so it’s time to prepare for it. Handmade valentine’s cards are perfect gift for Valentine’s day.
Nothing please your loved one’s more than sth that you make by yourself with the secret ingredients (love of course). Well it’s time to go to the point! I already  have my own valentine’s cards, now it’s your time. Today my proposition is the minimalist valentine’s card with beautiful 3D heart on it. Below you can find tutorial, so let’s do it!

Supplies you’ll need:

  • white top-folding 4.1x5.8 inch (10x15 cm) card base
  • piece of red paper
  • glue
  • scissors

Step 1:
Take red piece of paper and cut it into strips of dimensions 0.3 x 6 inch (0.7 x 15 cm). You will need about 60 such strips (I know it’s a lot of but you can do it :)).

Step 2:
Take a strip and roll it, like I showed on the photo. After you rolling a strip you need to glue it (see photo). And this is your flower for maiking a heart with 3D efect. You need to do the same with all the strips.

Step 3:
Now it’s time to make 3D heart. Glue the  flowers on card in the shape of heart. First make the outline of heart and after that fill it (see photos). When you fill whole heart with flowers your card is finished!

The final result:

Tomorrow the next ideas for valentine’s gifts!
